Conures are a great "starter bird." They are small, full of energy, very colorful and love everyone. Blue Crowns are probably about the best when it comes to talking ability. I usually recommend either Blue Crowns, Jendays, Goldcapps, or Nandays for people who are 1st time bird owners. Suns are readily available, but not one of my favorite Conures.
